✔️Trek Guidelines:
Costing : The costs mentioned below are the net costs payable and include 5% GST. One coordinator is free on a group of 20 and two when the group is 30. The costing mentioned for 20 Pax and 10 Pax is considering an exclusive batch, where brand protection will be guaranteed.
Personal Insurance: We cover Personal Insurance[via ASC360] of all the participants for the trek which covers all forms of accidents and illness during the trek.
Bookings and Cancellations : All the bookings will be confirmed once the confirmation is sent on kumawatholidays@gmail.com with participant details and 25% advance of the trek fee. Cancellation within 14 days of the event date will lead to no refund while before 14 days only 2000 INR per pax will be the cancellation charge.
Accommodation : Stay is provided on a triple sharing basis in alpine/dome tents and is separate for male and female. Toilet tents are available at all the campsites.
Cloak room : Participants have the facility for depositing their extra luggage at base camp for all the treks.
Documents required : Medical certificate, NOC, Aadhar Card Xerox and passport sized photograph is a compulsion for all the members during registration at base camp.
Offloading : Personal porter facility is not covered under our inclusions. In case one needs, a prior request has to be made.
Things to Carry : Participants should check the 'Things to Carry list' which includes all personal clothing and other trekking accessories required for the trek.
Smoking and Alcohol Consumption are strictly prohibited in all the treks.
Things to carry:
Trekking shoes: Carry proper trekking shoes with good grip and ankle support. Do not carry sports shoes.
Three layers of warm clothes: Carry fleece jackets(for warmth), a padded jacket(for warmth) and a hard shell jacket(for snow and rain).
Two/Three trek pants: Carry quick dry material(nylon-polyester) trek pants. Denim/jeans and shorts are not suitable for trekking.
Three t-shirts (collared/dri-fit): Full sleeved quick dry t-shirts. Add a compression layer if you sweat too much.
Thermals: Carry thermals (top and bottom).
Sunglasses: Sunglasses are mandatory. There will be a lot of snow on the trek and can cause snow blindness.
Cap: At high altitude, the sun is extra harsh so carry a cap to protect yourself. For the night you can use a woollen type.
Waterproof hand gloves: Carry waterproof gloves as they will get wet if you touch snow.
Socks (3-4 pairs) and a pair of woolen socks: Apart from two sports socks, you can take a pair of woolen socks for the night. For the trek use quick dry material socks.
Headlamp/LED torch: Mandatory. Headlamps may be quite beneficial for keeping your hands free.
Raincoat/Ponchos: At high altitudes, snowfall and rain are quite common and it’s mandatory to carry a poncho so that you don’t get wet. The trek will continue as planned even during rainfall. Your poncho should protect you from the rain.
Daypack (20 liters): You will need this to carry water bottles, lunch boxes, and personal medical kits in case you decide to offload your backpack.
Lunch box and water bottle: Every participant should have their personal lunch box and a good water bottle.
Toiletries: Limit your toiletries. Just get a mouthwash, sun's cream, and a small face towel.
First Aid Kit: Carry blister tape, crepe band aid, pain spray and few important medicines as it's always advisable when going into the wild. Kailashrath Treks will have the First Aid kit available with trek leaders and camp leaders. Make sure that you update the team before taking any medicine(even for painkillers and steroids).
Electronics: Power Banks are quite beneficial for the trek.
Inclusion:
Accommodation – On a triple sharing basis.
Meals – (Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner). We provide simple, nutritious Veg/Jain food on all days of the trek.
Rucksack -- A 60-liter bag with rain cover is provided for use in trekking. You can deposit your extra luggage with your bags at our campsite.
Camping charges – All trekking permits and forest camping charges are included.
Trekking equipment – High-quality tents and sleeping bags in all the camps. Sleeping bags can withstand temperatures as low as -10 ºC.
Gaiters – To prevent snow from entering inside your shoe.
Safety equipment and Emergency– First aid kit, oxygen cylinders, oximeter, etc. will be with the guide/trek leader and at the campsite as well to deal with emergencies.

Expert trek Leaders – All our trek leaders are at least qualified in basic/advanced mountaineering and first aid courses.
Expert Trek support team – The mountain staff on this trek consists of certified guides, cooks, helpers, and porters.
