It takes around 4 hours to reach the camp of Nagaru at 3,900 meters. Facing north from Nagaru, one can see magnificent mountains across the Parvati valley. The descent from the pass to the other side involves one of the longest snow slides. It takes one as far as a kilometer to a gentler slope of the valley.
